MISSION & HISTORY.
Spoiler: we are all about animals here.

Rescue Allies Community Programs is spun out of the 501c3 non-profit, Rescue Allies Inc. The mission of Rescue Allies is to assist animal shelters and rescues with their operations to increase adoption rates and decrease euthanasia rates and long stay animals. While working with animal shelters and rescues all over the country, our founder realized that in order to truly solve the problem, we needed to address the issue at the source.

Many animals find themselves in shelters after they have been with a family. There are many reasons why a family may surrender an animal and not all of them are preventable, but most can be solved with a little help from the community.

Rescue Allies Community Programs aims to prevent all unnecessary surrenders within the communities we have programs by providing free animal food and supplies to families that are struggling to pay for these items on their own.

We believe lasting change starts at home -- one paw at a time.
Common Questions
Q: Why do we need this program?
Across the country, many people are struggling with financial insecurity. Unfortunately, many people feel they are unable to provide for their animals and surrender them to a shelter. Most of the time, these situations are temporary and we created the animal food pantry to keep animals in their loving homes while their humans get back on their feet.
